1 Day Cycling in Chatakpur
About Trip
Chatakpur is of course a highlight region for day cycling tour in Darjeeling. In the morning after breakfast we can start cycling from Darjeeling Office. Route goes from levelled road called Gangdhi road straight follow to Jorbangla which is main junction to go various roads. But to go to Chatkpur we have to follow the main road toward 3 mile. Once you reach 3 mile you have to enter into Wild life century a gravel path which going uphill at altitude.
The main attraction of this route is Senchal Lake of Senchal wildlife Sanctuary and the place of the imposing hills, towering conical trees the cloud bearing sky and murmuring water flow as well as Mountain View from a small eco tourism village called Rumbi. You have lunch at Chatkphur . After having your lunch we can continue cycling toward another route via Dhap followed by Alubari road to reach Darjeeling.
Total duration of the of this tour is start from morning at 8 am and evening at 5 pm. A total day trip you will get extra experience of Nature, culture, mountain and many more!
